Matildanjärven Vaappu

The Teijo national park area is absolutely wonderful, we loved staying there and also really enjoyed the sauna that we booked for the early morning of our check-out. The customer service (remote, over phone) is excellent, very helpful! Definitely bonus points for that. The accommodation is nice, there is enough space for a family to sleep in and all you need for preparing something simple to eat. Important to note however that there is no running water in the kitchenette and unlike what is shown in the photos, there are no clean sheets available for guests. It is a bit pricey considering these couple of issues.

***NO RUNNING WATER*** BRING YOUR OWN LINNEN!*** The accommodation itself was fine, but the lack of essential information negatively impacted our experience. Nowhere in the Booking.com listing, confirmation emails, or text messages was it mentioned that guests need to bring their own bed linen. The photos even show beds made with sheets and pillowcases. Likewise, the description mentions a kitchenette but does not clearly state that there is no running water in the cabin. These are important details that should be clearly communicated in the booking information and, at the latest, in the arrival text message. We arrived after dark and only then discovered that there was no water available, which made even basic tasks difficult. For the price charged, guests should be clearly informed about what is not provided so they can prepare accordingly.

Mukava sijainti ja auton sai lähelle. Tosi siisti mökki ja piha!

Harmitti että ei saatu saunavuoroa. Sovellus tarjosi vuoroja aikoihin, milloin meillä ei edes ollut varausta. Tosi kurja homma. Ja jono suihkuun myös pitkä, joten peseytymättä oltiin koko aika.

Siisti mökki, kaikki tarpeellinen saatavilla. Ilmainen saunavuoro oli kiva lisä. Kävelymatkan päässä Mathildedalin keskustasta, myös bussiyhteys löytyi.

Nice location, nice cabin. If well informed, about the missing linen, blankets, then well suitable for camping experience.

Blankets, linen not included, water is not in house. in booking.com, intro says all what is needed is included. True, the day before extra long welcome email mentiones that linen, and blankets are not included. So we had to go to shop these before arrival. From comments here, is see this have been for long timne known problem for other customers. So it seems more like cheating in their booking.com page.
