Serenity Inn home stay

The moment we entered the property we were Welcomed with the welcome drink, tea. The entire family took great care of us. It was like a family stay. The extended all possible help booked me taxi for sightseeing - which is another 9 experience. Akib the driver to around and helped visit gulmarg and sonamarg. The restrooms were spotlessly clean and the upstairs rooms spic and span. The decor was aesthetic. Overall I would gladly recommend family or group stay with serenity home stay. 5 stars. At early in the morning you get a quiet hot in a carr nearby. There is a baking house just opposite the property to serve you hot kiln baked rotis.

Construction work is going on around and it may take a couple of months to complete to make the place more quiet and serene.

Neat and clean property

Nothing

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Serenity Inn Homestay near Dal Lake, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the warm and friendly family who run the homestay. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, bringing me lots of hot water and constantly checking that I was warm and had everything I needed. The room was clean, cozy, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for a little getaway near the lake. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Dal Lake, making it easy to explore the area. Despite the chilly and rainy weather, I felt cared for every step of the way. The family’s hospitality truly shone through when the brother kindly dropped me off at the airport, braving the rain and cold. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Serenity Inn. It felt like a home away from home, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming place to stay in Srinagar.

It would be great to have a kettle in the room.

All members of the family were extremely nice and welcoming. The room was very clean. There was hot water available all day. It is very close to Dal Lake. There is no sign on the gate, so it can be difficult to find the place, but we found the people around very helpful and they pointed us in the right direction.

It was really noisy and because of that we hardly got any sleep. :(
