About this apartment rental

Situated on a historic street in the picturesque, buzzing heart of central London, this is a loft-like open space with a large and airy living area with a fully equipped kitchen and dining room, and a large cosy bedroom facing a quiet backyard.

Designed throughout with high quality materials such as hand-made Zellige tiles imported from Morocco, wooden floors, high ceilings and iconic midcentury design classics, you'll feel right at home with London's best amenities on your doorstep.

This Airbnb is situated on a quiet street in Charles Dickens' historic London.
You have the many great food offerings on Leather Lane as well as four superb local coffee shops - such as Fidelio and Prufrock - on your doorstep, alongside a Sainsbury's supermarket, a dry cleaner, nail salon, hairdresser and various restaurants on Theobalds Road.

Right around the corner from Hatton Garden, London's famous jewellery mile, you are also a 10-minute walk away from the beautiful restaurants and pubs on Exmouth Market, as well as one of London's best kept secrets, Lamb's Conduit Street, with three of the capital's best restaurants competing with each other alongside some high end boutiques, a lovely cafe, a superb florist and a century-old British pub. The Curzon cinema and various gyms and shared workspaces are all within a few minutes' walk.

St Paul's cathedral and the Thames are a 15-minute walk away, and within 20 minutes of walking you are in Covent Garden, 25 mins away from Chinatown and Soho, and 30 mins by foot from Oxford Circus.

If you prefer public transport, the flat is a 5 minute walk away from Farringdon Station, where the brand-new Elizabeth Line will whisk you to Tottenham Court Road, Bond Street, Paddington and Liverpool Street in minutes.
Chancery Lane tube station, which is serviced by the Central Line, is a 10 minute walk away.

This is a large 1-bedroom space that can sleep up to 3 people: There is one double bedroom with a king-size bed, and the sofa in the lounge can sleep one additional person as it can be folded out into a bed.

KITCHEN
The kitchen is fully equipped with brand new SMEG double oven and induction hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and fridge/freezer.
We have just fitted a custom-made stainless steel worktop and snow white Moroccan Zellige tiles, creating a calm, modern and functional feel.

DINING SPACE
The kitchen features a dining table that can comfortable seat four.

LOUNGE
The kitchen and dining space flow seamlessly into a quaint yet quirky spacious lounge, which overlooks Hatton Wall and offers views of the bustling Leather Lane with its daily food market.

The lounge has been carefully furnished with some famous midcentury design classics such as a pair of 1960s space age armchairs, an Italian Travertine coffee table, a massive rice paper pendant, an Eileen Grey side table, a teak mini bar and a 1970s leather sofa by De Sede.

A brand new XXL rug by Nordic Knots pulls the space together and creates a coherent sitting area Don Draper would have felt right at home ;)

BATHROOM
The bathroom has been freshly refurbished in a style that reimagines the 1960s. An imposing pedestal sink fitted with high end chrome taps, a classic chrome radiator, red marble mosaic floors and a traditional toilet complement a Zellige-tiled rainfall shower with linen shower curtains.

We provide fresh linen, towels, soap, organic shampoo and body wash as well as toilet paper.

Flat is clean & so thoughtfully decorated. Way better place to stay than hotel. So many wonderful restaurants and pubs right there in the neighborhood. We felt very safe walking around day & night.
