About this cottage rental

Trefisheg Bungalow is a spacious detached cottage offering the most stunning views over the coast towards the lighthouse at Strumble Head and out to sea.Comfortably furnished, the well-fitted kitchen/diner gives plenty of space to prepare a family meal. Enjoy relaxing in the sitting room, the sea views will sure to delight, the large windows really maximise the view, while the master bedroom has the same aspect, delight in leisurely lie-ins while you soak up the sweeping sea view.Nestling beneath Garn Fechan, it is set in a prettily planted, enclosed garden, the side lawn and patio to the rear is the perfect spot to enjoy an alfresco meal on a summer’s evening and watch the spectacular sunsets out to sea. This small rural hamlet is less than a mile from Strumble Head and the lighthouse, footpaths abound, wander the quiet flower strewn lanes and join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to explore the dramatic cliffs and hidden coves, home to colonies of seals and birds. Delight in the watching for dolphins, porpoises and seals, the seal pups are plentiful on the beaches in the Autumn, the area is a mecca for bird and wildlife enthusiasts.  The nearest beach is the small shingle and pebbly Porthsychan about 1mile away, while further away Pwllcrochans sand and shingle beach is suitable for bathing and as you have to walk to it from the coast road, it is seldom crowded, or try the stunning Abermawr and Aberbach beaches both with golden sand at low tide. The harbour town of Goodwick is only a short drive away and offers a small selection of shops and pubs, while the bustling town of Fishguard with its picturesque harbour in Lower Town offers additional facilities, Newport and the tiny city of St David’s are both within a short drive.Trefisheg makes a wonderful holiday cottage from which to enjoy the peace and tranquillity this area has to offer. One Level Accommodation - This denotes that a bedroom, bathroom or shower room, whb/wc, living area and kitchen are on one level - guests must check the property access statement on the website or request a copy via email to base their decision on, if this is important to your stay.
