Lagoon Bentota Resort

Amazing hotel with beautiful people! My kids enjoyed Bentota Lagoon so much. You can see thousands of flying foxes, varans, kingfishers. Food is amazing 😍 whatever we ate there it was delicious, fresh and cooked with great care. We went for a river safari and it was absolutely amazing. My child loved little fishing spot in a mangroves. He spend hours and hours fishing with fishing stick that he get from the owner. Boys from the kitchen was helping him, almost babysitting him most of our stay. They helped him with so many things that he was crying when we supposed to go back home. One night some village people came for crab fishing and that was so cool to observe. The owner gave us delicious mangos as a present for goodbye 🎁 💝 Lagoon Bentota is take care with great love, you can see that immediately. Everything is clean and new. Room is comfortable with all you need. Lakeside is so calm without the noise of traffic. All you can hear are the animals and voices from temple and mosque. Beautiful! Amazing experience for my children and me! Thank you Bentota Lagoon!

Alles beviel ons aan deze accommodatie, de prachtige ligging aan de Bentota rivier maar vooral de enorm vriendelijke familie dit dit runt. Van generatie naar generatie is dit opgebouwd en dat merk je aan met hoeveel passie ze vertellen over de locatie waar de vader zo’n beetje alles zelf gemaakt heeft, de opa nog steeds mee helpt en de zoon het resort nu runt. Hier hebben we de verjaardag van mijn vrouw gevierd en hadden haar verrast met een taart en uitgebreid en heerlijk ontbijt. De avond een mega lekker diner gekregen met verse vis, in de ochtend gevangen. Aan het eind van de middag hebben we een river safari gemaakt waar de zoon mee ging en met passie vertelde over de omgeving,

The Resort is very Cozy and the Staff treated us as Family. They were always supportive of our Food preferences and provided us less spicy food which was our requirement along with great variety as requested. We also enjoyed the Sight Seeing which were designed as per our needs and timings. Himmel himself accompanied us for all tours providing us the guidance and information of spots. He also took us to authentic shopping spots for Gems, Souvenirs and spices etc. The Vans and Tuk-Tuk he provided very of exceptional quality.
