Great position overlooking the Dinosaur spine hike. At times Google translate was needed and the menu was limited but it was a really nice stay. Beautiful puppies were a bonus

Fantastic little cabins and an amazing view, right near Dinosaur Spine Ridge. Lovely staff and the food is amazing. She prepared delicious vegetarian food for us especially. Thanks for the memories!

The couple who manages May House were absolutely wonderful, provided me with anything I needed, including an absolutely delicious dinner I got the privelage of sharing with them and their infant son. The entrance to the ride/hike along the dinosaur's backbone is literally 50' from the homestay, which is probably the highlight of the area. This means you're in prime position to get down there for sunrise. Only low marks were for the shower situation, because of the height of the A-frame, taller guests might have a bit of an issue getting cleaned up, but the water is hot and the toilet works great. No AC, but at 5000' it gets cool at night, so the fan is perfect. Breakfast was included, a tasty Bahn Mi /w coffee. Do yourself a favour and stay here if you're up this way!

We were pretty sure we were paying a bit extra purely for location - and the location is exceptional, high up above the clouds and right beside the dragon spine - and were pleased to find everything else here is good too. We had a brilliant dinner with our host family, enjoyed a comfortable bed in our cabin, and got to hang out with the local dogs, too. There's a petrol pump just down the road and several cafes nearby, which were useful as we explored the trails in the area.
