Cap D'Antibes is lovely. The villa probably was stunning once but needs work.
Lovely setting in Cap D'antibes near a little restaurant and shop. Outdoor space is excellent and views are very good.
Quite disappointing altogether. Advertised as a 6 bedroom villa but 2 of the bedrooms are in the basement with no opening windows and smell very musty and damp. The 4 remaining bedrooms are on 2 floors and are light and face the garden with either direct access or balconies. The only Aircon in the entire villa is in the bedrooms and we were warned about turning it too low incase it broke. The aircon in the master bedroom did not ever work well and packed up altogether day 2 when my Daughter, her husband and a 5 month old baby were in it. It hit 32c at night. I phoned Raphael and he said he would 1st come at 11.30 so we waited in then he changed to 3 when we said we would be out and eventually the technician came at 7 and said it could not be fixed for the rest of our stay. It was not fixed when we left either so I wonder if the next people were also told "not to turn it down too low incase it breaks"? The property is on the market and it feels like the owners do not want to invest anything or fix problems that may arise and I got a similar feeling about Raphael. He did not even show up to the exit handover as he was "too ill". He must have been really bad as he couldn't even text me to tell me that he wasn't coming the poor bloke. At least we only needed 3 of the bedrooms.
