Domus Aurea - Casetta tra gli ulivi

We had a lovely stay at this house. It is located among beautiful, olive trees and offers a very peaceful, spacious, and comfortable atmosphere. If you are looking for a quiet place away from the crowds, this is a great choice. It is completely silent and surrounded by nature, which makes it very relaxing. The location was also convenient for us. The seaside is about a 15–20 minute drive away, and Ispica can be reached in around 10–15 minutes by car. The owner replaced our towels during the second week, but note that there is no washing machine or iron, so you need to ask for an iron if needed. We really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the comfort of the house, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay close to nature and within driving distance of the sea and town.

There is no washing machine. I unfortunately did not notice this before booking, and as we stayed for two weeks, it was quite difficult for two people not to have the possibility to wash clothes. The owner was a little reserved, but everything was fine and our stay was pleasant overall.
