Excellent accommodation, comfort, safety – simply like home

Accommodation was excellent – very clean, modern and fully equipped. We could cook easily with local ingredients (stovetop, oven, cezve for coffee). Even without a kettle, making tea in a pot worked just fine. The bathroom is beautiful, and the washing machine was a big plus as we only had hand luggage for our 12-day stay. The bed was very comfortable, and thanks to the lightwell location we slept really well. The biggest bonus: direct access to the pool, which is cleaned and maintained daily. The whole complex is safe, with parking available. Special thanks to Mrs. Vana and her sister – very kind and caring hosts. She even arranged our bus from Tirana to Vlora and checked in on us during our stay. One of the best apartments we’ve ever stayed in – highly recommended! We’ll definitely return when we come back to Albania. ❤️

It’s not that we didn’t like it – just something to keep in mind: the apartment is a bit outside the city center, so for larger shopping you need to go further. We walked about 30 minutes towards town for fresh fish and vegetables. A slight downside is that the three nearby restaurants don’t offer local dishes, only pizza and pasta – which is a pity. But we can definitely recommend Shpella Lounge Bar – excellent cocktails, very friendly owners, and about a 30-minute walk from the apartment towards the center.

I do want to note that there is A LOT of stairs. This wasn’t a problem for us but definitely could be for people with mobility issues. It was a lot to get up to the street and walk somewhere or find a taxi.

Best place in Vlora

Great apartment, couldn't have asked for more. Our daughter loved the swimming pool. It was right in front of the apartment so she was swimming even in the evening while we we were having dinner in the veranda. You could literally jump on it from the veranda - it's like 3-4 meters away. Newly furnished and sparkly clean. The residence is very cozy and quiet. Evening views are priceless. Vlora is a great destination. Vanova was very friendly and helpful with her tips and suggestions.

Un loc de vis! 💙 Mulțumim din suflet gazdei Happy Blue1 pentru o vacanță absolut minunată! Totul a fost peste așteptări – curățenie impecabilă, liniște, confort, iar priveliștea… de poveste! Ne-am simțit răsfățați și în siguranță, ca acasă. O gazdă caldă și atentă, mereu disponibilă. Mulțumire maximă din partea noastră – un colț de liniște și relaxare pe care cu siguranță îl vom recomanda și unde vom reveni cu drag!

Heel fijn appartement op mooie locatie

Het appartement ligt direct aan het zwembad met uitzicht over de baai van Vlorë. Dat voelt heel luxe. Het is zeer schoon. Het contact met Vana is prettig en als wij aangeven dat we een waterkoker missen dan wordt daar direct actie op ondernomen. Er is een supermarkt direct aan de overkant van de weg en genoeg restaurantjes in de buurt. Djeppi was onze favoriet.

Op zich viel niets echt tegen maar ik heb wel 2 aanbevelingen: Ik zou donkere (rol)gordijnen plaatsen in de slaapkamer. Met alleen voile gordijnen is het om 6 uur ‘s morgens al licht in de slaapkamer. En een klein steelpannetje om eieren te koken voor ontbijt zou fijn zijn. Je moet je wel realiseren dat als je wat slechter ter been bent dat je behoorlijk wat trappen omhoog of omlaag moet lopen om bij je appartement te komen of naar de straat wil gaan maar dan heb je wel de mooiste plek in dit appartementcomplex. Je hebt wel een auto nodig om naar het centrum van Vlorë te gaan.
