The instructions were not correct with the code but managed to try alternatives, like not entering the pound sign or hash tag. The phone number for issues is worthless if you do not have a German phone. Email did not receive a response till the next day. One person could not get into his room, battery dead in the locking mechanism. Had to help to people get in because of instructions being incorrect. No WiFi, it was listed on booking.com as having. I needed WiFi to prevent expensive roaming charges. It was the most expensive Hostel I stayed in for no perk like WiFi and breakfast

Es war an nahezu alles gedacht worden, gute Vorbereitung. Und das Haus gefällt mir.

Das Etagen-Bad oben ist sehr eng, das winzige Waschbecken unter einer Schräge. Und die Dusche hat keinen Schlauch, das Nebenzimmer mit Dusch-Symbol auf der Tür eine Klinke, die locker dran hing und die Tür ließ sich nicht öffnen.

Das Restaurant und das Personal waren super. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Speisen im Restaurant können wir auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Zimmer war auf dem ersten Blick okay. Beim genaueren Hinsehen vielen dann schon ein paar Kleinigkeiten auf. Haare auf der Bettwäsche, benutztes Geschirr vom vorigen Mieter, Spinnengewebe und Marienkäfer in den Räumlichkeiten.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Nice to get out in the morning among the trees and even hear a cuckoo.

Dorms and sanitary facilities were unisex, which I found very uncomfortable. If this was advised on the website, then it wasn't advised prominently enough, because I didn't see it. I felt awkward being in a dorm with two other women but also a man, but it could have even been the other way round. Please consider having single-sex dorms. On three occassions (once for me and twice for another woman in the dorm) the bed had been double-booked and the proprietor had to be phoned to sort it out.
