Cute place, well appointed, comfortable.
The afternoon of the second day of our stay we were surprised to see a rat running down the hallway.
Staff was quick to provide two rat traps.
Before bedtime we discovered the rat (dead) in the trap under a bed. I myself had to crawl under the bed to retrieve the trapped rat, bag it and put it outside for the pest control man.
Being three somewhat traumatized senior ladies (wondering if there were more rats) we would have greatly appreciated being recompensed in some small way.
Sadly, the management only texted
“We’re sorry.”
We expected more (and rightly so).
Also, the carpet in the back bedroom was in bad need of cleaning.
