The best thing about the accommodation was the location. The private gate from the house to the public beach made it very convenient to stay on the beach as early or as late as you want, especially important in the very hot weather. The sunset is beautiful every night and lots of people stay on the beach till 9pm. There is a beach lifeguard very near the house and 2 bars within walking distance. The house is in a very quiet residential area and there is also a sun terrace, but it was too hot to use while we were staying. It only takes about 15 minutes to walk to the centre of San Vincenzo so the car was not needed, as parking can be difficult in the town, especially in August. The kitchen was well equipped, if a little dated. There is an outside seating area for eating in the evenings but it was too hot at lunchtimes. We had 2 barbecues during our stay as well as takeaway pizza on the beach at 9.30 pm. Storage for clothes in the bedrooms and bathroom were adequate, and the air conditioning in the corridor worked well keeping the bedrooms and kitchen cool when it was 35 degrees outside.

There was not a lot of storage space for dried food but the fridge was an adequate size. The left side of the double bed was uncomfortable due to an ill fitting wooden slat underneath the bed. The bathroom shower door was old and water often went all over the floor. Take several floor mats for the shower, as well as mats for the inside of the entrance door to stop sand from going everywhere. The inside doors also need painting as they look very old and dirty. It is expensive for the type of accommodation , but if you want a relaxing, no stress holiday with teenagers who can come and go when they want, it's perfect!
