A perfect Tuscan holiday - thank you Paola!

Poggio Aprico was exactly what I was looking for: a comfy apartment in a classic, Tuscan villa, surrounded by a gorgeous garden and olive groves - and it has a decent size pool with a paddling pool for kids too! It is located just outside Venturina Terme and a short drive from magnificent Tuscan villages (Strade del Vino e dell'Olio) and gorgeous beaches of the Etruscan Coast (Baratti - my love!) - to me, a perfect combination. The owner Paola is most welcoming, helpful and professional. Together with her father she works tirelessly to make your stay as comfy and pleasant as possible: the apartment is very well equipped and spotless. And they do a magnificent job maintaining the garden too - think fragrant jasmine around the pool, lush pelargonium adorning the balcony, slender cypress and the ever present olive trees... They make their own olive oil too (which Paola let us taste and which we liked so much that we bought 6 litres of :-) I seldom return to the same place twice, but Poggio Aprico has me thinking about going back - the sooner, the better.

There is nothing I didn't like - Poggio Aprico met my expectations 100% - highly recommend!

Good stop over to see the local area with a v nice pool.

Warm welcome to the apartment. Super clean. No air con which is a shame but there was generally a nice breeze. The pool is very nice and exceptionally clean. Comfy beds. The location is set just above a through road so you do hear some traffic. Venturina Terme, the small town, is a very short drive. V quiet but a few good restaurants and Gelateria. Big supermarket there. Lots of local places to visit such as Campiglia Marittima a gorgeous old village in the hills. The coast is not too far and some decent beaches. The area is not touristy.

Air con in the bedrooms would be good.

A place we'll forget very soon.

The building and the garden is beautiful. Supermarked at walking distance. Near to Follonica Water Park and Cavillino Matto.

Unfortunately we got our stay ruined by some very ill-mannered german kids, who was staying above our room. From the moment we arrived they were harrasing my kids and was very rude when told to go away. They continued to do so for 2 days, which made my kids retire to their room and never had a chance to go to the pool without beeing harrased. They threw small stones into our kitchen, when we were not in the room. They rang our doorbell several times and ran away, when we open the door. They drove bikes in front of our terrace, making noise on purpose. The parents was clueless and had no control over their kids. The hotel was okay, but I would not recommend it. The place needs a 24-hour guard because it attracts these kind of idiot tourists.

place is amazing, I would highly recommend it. The host was extremely kind and very flexible on all our requests.

Unfortunately air conditioning was not working and given the high temperatures, it made it a bit difficult to sleep at night.

Ein im besten Sinne preiswerter Urlaubsort

Vier Jahre nach meinem ersten Aufenthalt hat sich bestätigt, dass Poggio Aprico eine sehr gute Adresse an der etruskischen Riviera ist. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Es gibt neben dem wunderbaren Pool eine Menge an Abwechslung für Familien mit Kindern, aber auch als Paar ist es erholsam, bietet Schatten oder Sonne, wie man es gerade braucht. Das Auto parkt gut und beschattet. Das Apartment ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt, auch wenn man sich selbst verpflegen möchte. Das Bett ist bequem. Mit dem Auto sind drei sehr schöne und unterschiedliche Strände in kurzer Zeit erreicht.

Alles okay. Es dauert ein bisschen bis warmes Wasser kommt.

Хорошая вилла, ухожено, чисто и красиво. У нас было 2 комнаты (гостиная и спальня). Есть всё необходимое на кухне из посуды.

Диван в гостиной на 1м этаже не комфортный для сна. При раскладывании матрац не ровный, проваливаешься. Это не лично ваша вилла, есть соседи и их слышно, если они шумные. В спальне не хватает ящиков, только шкаф с вешалками и очень маленькие тумбочки. В ванной не хватает крючков возле мойки.

Séjour en Toscane

Un lieu magnifique où le charme de la Toscane opère dès votre arrivée. Tout est là pour que vous puissiez passer un super moment et Paola est de surcroît une hôte absolument adorable qui est aux petits soins pour que votre séjour soit parfait Le parc , la piscine, le coin détente tout est fait pour que vous puissiez profiter pleinement de vos vacances

Perfekter Toscana Urlaub

Die Unterkunft war perfekt. Das Haus mit riesem Garten und Pool ist außergewöhlich riesig und sehr gepflegt. Man hat alles was man für den Urlaub braucht. Für Familien mit Kindern sehr empfehlenswert. Der Pool ist abgesichert, Kinder können nicht aus die Staße laufen, Spielplatz und weitere Spielmöglichkeiten vorhanden. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und fragte immer nach ob alles ok sei. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter. Auch die Lage ist perfekt, sei es zum Supermarkt , Strand oder den größeren Städten.

In der Küche könnte die Kochecke mit etwas mehr Licht ausgestattet sein, jedoch definitiv kein minuspunkt.
