Villa Mango Uluwatu ocean and jungle view

Perfect location and nice view of the water and had a great pool with a ton of amazing space! We did read about construction around us in the previous reviews but honestly it was pretty quiet and didn’t bother us at all. The staff were so nice and very communicative. The edge security staff at the end of the road to get access to the house were wonderful and so friendly! Watching the monkeys walking on the telephone lines in the morning while hanging out by the pool was so incredible!

The shower is an open shower to the rest of the bathroom which we expected and very common in Bali but the floor is not sloped properly so the water does not go into the drain easily. We had to use a mop/pool squeegee while we showered to keep the water contained otherwise it started to spread to the rest of the bathroom and hallway. To get around this we just didn’t keep the shower running while we showered we would turn it on and wet our hair then turn it off and while we shampooed then turned it back on to rinse our hair. Not the most enjoyable shower experience. The pool guy while cleaning the pool left the glass sliding door open and when I noticed this I asked the pool guy if it was ok if I closed this door. so a small lizard got in and I had to usher him out the door which was not a big deal though. Something to note is the road is not paved yet so if you have a motor scooter it could be a bit bumpy if you are not used to it or if you have a car coming to pick you up you may need to coax them to come down the road to come get you but I am sure once construction is complete the road will be paved and that is only temporary.

Magnifique villa, très spacieuse et décorée avec goût. La piscine permet de faire facilement des longueurs, extra pour se dégourdir dès le matin. Vue splendide sur l’océan, en pleine nature et extrêmement calme! Éblouissante maison. Topissime….waouw!!!

Le style, la luminosité, la déco réussie !

L’immense chantier tout autour qui est l’opposé de l’effet vacances. Le sol extrêmement glissant dedans et dehors! (2 chutes). l’accès à l’étage par l’extérieur encombré par les plantes. On aurait préféré avoir de vrai canapé en bas car aller en haut n’est pas pratique (enfant personne âgées) et comme les touristes ne cuisinent pas il n’y a pas forcément d’intérêt à monter. Des lampes de chevets seront un point à améliorer
