The accommodation is strategically located in Bari, in a secure building. It offers an excellent private parking area within the building, where there were always available spaces. The host was very attentive and gave us great tips on what to see in the Puglia region, where to eat, and how to plan our itinerary. The apartment is safe and very quiet, making it a perfect place for a proper rest. Although it is on a lively street, it is internally positioned, so no noise from the street can be heard. It was clean.

During the first two nights of our stay, the apartment was quite cold. The heating wasn’t working, and the air conditioner couldn’t be adjusted enough to properly warm the room. We were traveling with a small child, so having sufficient warmth in the room is not something we are willing to compromise on. The weather improved afterward, and the room with the air conditioner eventually became warm enough—but only by the third evening. There is a gas stove, but when we tried to use it one evening (we had bought food to cook), the lighter wasn’t working at all, and we had to throw the food away. In the bathroom, there was a soap dispenser, but it was empty, and there were no small single-use soaps either. This wouldn’t have been an issue, but it was Easter and all the shops were closed, so we couldn’t buy any. There was also no dish sponge, and again, due to the closed stores, we couldn’t get one. The plates in the cupboard were not clean enough—there were leftovers from previous meals on them—and until we managed to buy a sponge, we couldn’t use them. The bathroom drain is clogged, which makes showering quite challenging. These are relatively minor issues (with the exception of the heating, which is essential at all times and without exception) and could be easily fixed with a bit more attention. Overall, I would recommend the place.

It is within a 15-minute walking distance to the city center. It is located in a safe building surrounded by many high-quality cafés, restaurants, and bakeries. The room is spacious enough and has a small balcony where you can enjoy your coffee and get some fresh air. There is also a coffee machine and a kettle available. Coffee, tea, and water are complimentary. And of course, it’s impossible not to mention the host, Piero, who helps you like a member of your own family. He is friendly, solution-oriented in almost every matter, and always ready to do his best to make his guests feel comfortable.
