As condições da casa, está toda remodelada no interior e possui de tudo que uma família precisa no sentido de acolhimento. Proprietários exímios.

We liked experiencing this Portuguese style house, and ate mostly outside on the veranda with a fantastic uninterrupted views of the gardens and mountains. You have to be well organised as the nearest shop for food and drinks is at least 15 mins drive away. That feels longer as the roads winds up and down. The hosts welcomed us and directed us to the property as google took us to a seriously rudimentary road so we stopped. Otherwise the road to the house is fully tarred, and there is one very narrow spot but our small SUV passed without any issue, just need to slow down and be careful. At first the house feels quite remote to drive to, so bring supplies for snacks and drinks and food for the evening. It's equipped and decorated with rustic items, it feels like you are truly in the Portugal countryside. It's uphill, and it has a large garden with plenty of fruits to eat. There are air cons in each room, that can be used at additional cost I think, we did not need to use them. Modern walk in shower bathroom. There is a small lounge dinning room which we used as the office. There is a smart Brazilian Restaurant 15 mins drive away down and up a winding road- fleur de sel - good service, food and has a wine list.

The internet was not stable, and unfortunately let me down during a key call. The host provided me with cable but I had no idea or time to figures out how to use it, so ended using my mobile phone hotspot. The signals were weak, so I decided to take Friday off in the end. Despite the very large land attached to the property, the entrance to the parking space is quite tight (designed for small Portuguese cars originally), so it's very tricky to put the car in the car parking area. Although the hosts said we could park on the road, we preferred to put the hired car inside the property for safety. To make space in the kitchen, the fridge/freezer was in the corridor, so one has to keep the bedroom doors closed to keep the noise out. This space works best for two persons, although it caters for 6.
