Just Renovated Stories Apartment Free parking

Newly renovated apartment, very beautiful and a nice location. Owner was very friendly, flexible and supportive. We were 4 people and it was perfect.

We booked the apartment the same day we arrived. Communication was friendly and fast, very detailed, yet understandable, so that finding the place, parking spot and getting the keys was easy. The centre of Riga is walking distance. The apartment was overall even better than one can imagine from the pictures. It was new, clean and spacious. Loved the apartment plan, that the bedrooms were quite apart and in our br was blackkout curtains, thanks for that. Good that the WC and bathroom were separately. Although we stayed only one night and didn`t need to cook, there is all you need, for that. Dishes, pot-pan, cutting board, knives, cutlery, bowls etc. All was new and usable. I liked, that there were a paper towel in the kitchen and also the fabric towel. In the bathroom there were also all necessary amenities and also towels, enough for us, 3 people. Maybe if there were carpets, it would be even more cosy and not that much echo but I understand, that for the hygiene reasons maybe it is better off.

Here are few moments, what are not exactly dealbreakers but can be gamechangers and give 10 points instead of 9 :) -- Some doors were creaking. Feels loud when someone goes to bathroom at night. A little bit of oil on the hinges solves it easily. -- There is a basket on the wall in the shower, which is probably for your shower gel and other stuff while washing. Still, the little bottles provided by the host are so small, that they fall through there. And the holes are big also for some other stuff you imagine to put there. Maybe change the basket or put something on the bottom. -- Pillows were bit too soft, big and wrong material. But this could be only my preference, because usually I travel with my own pillow. This trip was more spontaneous. So maybe the feather filling would be safe to choose. Also, since the accommodation was for 3 ppl, there could of been also same number of blankets. We had 2. Mattresses were fine. -- This one is actually only thing that was really disturbing. The smell of the strong laundry detergent which welcomed us first thing at the door and didn`t leave us until we left. It indicates, of course, that everything is cleaned etc. but the smell actually disturbed us also while sleeping and throat even got a little itchy. I strongly recommend some more neutral, scentless detergent while washing the bedsheets of the apartment.

Appartamento grande, pulito, non troppo lontano dal centro anche se è necessario camminare 20 minuti circa. Tutto bene

Le tende non oscurano completamente durante la notte, un problema per chi ha il sonno leggero.
