Sirami homestay

Key collection was easy. The owner gave clear instructions and directions, and even included a video guide to the property! The apartment is relatively clean but small, featuring two single bedrooms, a small common area (with a sofa and dining table), a kitchen counter with a sink (no stove), and a bathroom. The floor and sofa were a bit dusty, but nothing a quick wipe couldn’t resolve (cloth, broom, and mop provided). The owner is friendly and responded promptly via WhatsApp, although we did not meet in person. The owner also allowed delayed checkout upon request. The air-conditioning worked flawlessly, and the water pressure was super strong! There is a mini-fridge and some eating utensils, as well as an iron and two extra pillows. There is also a swimming pool, and I think there are BBQ facilities beside the pool, but I couldn’t see them clearly from my room. Econsave is just beside the property, and there are convenience shops and places to eat within walking distance. If you want to try the local cuisine, take a Grab (around RM5) to the old town morning market (pasar pagi). There are so many choices that you’ll wish you had 4 stomachs!

The owner provided soap and shampoo upon request a few days before check-in, but no toilet paper was provided. So, make sure to request it or bring your own. No other toiletries were provided. It would be nice if the owner could provide an electric kettle for boiling water. We had to buy drinking water from Econsave. Wi-Fi is available, but the speed is rather slow (as mentioned by the owner upon booking) even though the router is right outside the unit. The password is provided upon request.
