Highly recommend Landhaus Barbara Ferienwohnungen! The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the English-speaking receptionist was very helpful and accommodating. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and well-located—just a 3-minute walk from the reception where you grab your keys, and a 10-minute walk into the main town.
The amenities and breakfast were both great. The room includes a handy kitchenette with a fridge, coffee maker, and cooktop. I was so comfortable I could easily have stayed a week!
Tip: Check out the Alpenmilch Automat just 850m away for incredible, fresh local milk. Way better than anything you'll buy in a store!
Areas for improvement. The shower drained extremely slowly, which left me standing in a couple of centimeters of water. Additionally, the setup of the bathroom is a bit impractical: the body wash and shampoo dispenser is mounted next to the sink instead of inside the shower. Having to step out dripping wet every time you need soap is quite inconvenient. Lastly, while it was fine for my stay, be aware that the room lacks A/C and doesn't have a fan, so it will likely get uncomfortably warm during the summer months.

Ich war beruflich in Oberstdorf, und bevorzuge zum Arbeiten eine Wohnung.
Die Wohnung Nr. 9 hatte keine Dusche.
Die Wohnung Nummer 10 war renoviert und verfügte über eine Dusche.
In der Nummer 9 gab es eine Badewanne.

Die Lage der Unterkunft war wirklich hervorragend – ruhig, aber dennoch zentral gelegen und idealer Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen. Auch die Sauberkeit der Wohnung war sehr gut, ebenso wie das Bad. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat gestimmt, und der Grundkomfort war völlig in Ordnung. Besonders positiv war auch der vorhandene Brötchenservice sowie die Möglichkeit, Getränke direkt in der Unterkunft zu erwerben.
Die Küchenausstattung war leider sehr einfach gehalten. Ein Backofen fehlte vollständig, und insgesamt war die Küche recht minimalistisch ausgestattet. Auch die Beleuchtung hätte etwas gemütlicher und funktionaler sein dürfen – die Stehlampe konnte aufgrund einer defekten Steckdose leider nicht genutzt werden. Kleine Snacks für den Abend wären außerdem eine schöne Ergänzung gewesen.
