Sunwing Fañabe Beach

The resort exceeded my expectations. First - the interaction with the staff was top notch. Even before we arrived, we received in a timely manner answer to all our questions via booking. Complimentary snacks were provided in the room as we arrived after dinner (very helpful, it was late in the night with starving children). Room was cleaned and mopped almost daily, it was spotless. Nice selection of food at breakfast. Loved that it was less crowded than what we usually saw in Greece / Turkey. My son's 5 year old birthday was celebrated there. We got a happy birthday card swept under the door first thing in the morning, "signed" by the resort mascots, which my son adored - lovely start of the day. At my request (I was willing to pay, but as we had half board it was on the house) they assembled a mini cake with ice-cream on the side and the staff sang Happy Birthday together with us at dinner. Everybody that we interacted with seemed to generally love kids and tried to engage with them - a true family resort. Oh, I also loved the black out curtains! Location was great, a few minutes walk from Fanabe beach, as well as other less known beaches that we loved, one in a bay area where waves were almost non existent. Also walking distance to Costa Adeje port, if one books a boat tour. Overall I would say it exceeded our expectations.

The only minus of our trip was that our room faced the street, which resulted in some noisy nights (even though Costa Adeje is more of a family destination, there were still a lot of young tourists there who went to party hard and even got into some fighting / yelling at 2-3 AM in the morning. I do realise though that this was not the hotel's fault, but maybe for people reading us - ask at the reception to get a room with balcony on the pool side :)

Great location. Lovely staff. Great variety of breakfast. We’ve stayed out most of the time so not really used any facilities.

I’ve had spray tan on and it rubbed on the bed so we needed the sheets and duvet covers changed. Stripped the bed to make it easier for cleaners. Left towels on the floor as instructed if needed changing. Stayed 3 days and didn’t get fresh towels at all on our stay even though we’ve left a good tip on the first day .

amazing! had everything we needed and in such a perfect location too, literally 1 minute away from the beach

Small balcony overlooked by neighbours, no privacy. Food in buffet at best lookwarm if not cold.
