About this house rental
Family vacation between the Bodden and the sea: Our cozy vacation home can accommodate up to 7 people and is especially well-suited for a family vacation. It has been furnished with attention to detail. The large, fenced-in garden offers plenty of space for play, fun, and cozy barbecue evenings.
The Bodden and its harbor are within walking distance, and the Baltic Sea is very close—accessible by bike, car, or bus.
Our vacation home is located not far from the Saale Bodden, near the center of Ribnitz.
It was planned and built in 1938 as a retirement home for our great-grandparents, both of whom were born in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It has been in the family ever since.
Later, our grandfather—born in Kiel in 1913—lived in this property with his family. He felt a strong connection to the maritime history of the Fischland-Darß region.
Because of this history, we want the house—even after its extensive modernization in 2004—to continue to charm with its classic features, combined with maritime, Nordic-Scandinavian decor. The rooms are bright and furnished with an eye for detail. The color palette of the sea and the beach runs through the entire house in subtle details, ranging from sand to gray and blue.

Our House
On the first floor, you’ll find a large, bright living room with double doors leading to the separate dining room, as well as the cozy kitchen and a small guest restroom.
Upstairs, you’ll find the large bedroom for two people, the small bedroom with a bunk bed that can be converted into a double bed if needed and a 1.40 m wide mattress in a cozy sleeping alcove, and the nautical-themed full bathroom with a bathtub, shower, and toilet.
In the converted attic with rustic roof beams, there is another double bed available (access via a narrow staircase).
