Lovely little studio near the beach

What a lovely little place so close to the Channel Tunnel. The perfect place to break our journey into two on our way to the Netherlands to visit my family. Meticulously clean. The lady had kindly made sure the bed was made, as we arrived quite late. It was great to have a small fridge/freezer to keep the contents of our coolbag cold overnight and to refreeze the ice blocks. There is a senseo machine with coffee pads, as well as a kettle and tea bags, so we could make a flask for the next leg of our journey, as well as a hot drink whilst there. The sofa bed was of good quality and very comfortable- no sagging. It was really close to the beach, so we made a beach walk in the morning before continuing on our journey. We really appreciated the effort the owners had made to reflect the Christmas spirit in the studio. Finally, we were really touched by the yummy chocolates left for us, which we shared with my family. We will certainly try and book this again in future.

Whilst we managed to retrieve the front door key thanks to the owner's instructions and photos. However, we really struggled with the studio's front door key pad lock, and had to ring the owner in the end, as it wasn't working. Luckily with their help we managed to sort it out. The studio is directly opposite the lift, which is great when moving luggage etc. Later in the night it did also mean my dog barking when other people came back to their abodes. I would really appreciate a bedside light or even some lower level lighting, aside from the main ceiling light.

The bed ! Was advertised as a 1 bed apartment. The bed was a sofa bed and was so uncomfortable, every time we turned over the sofa bed squeaked .

Kleines Studio- sauber und ausreichend

Wir waren jetzt bereits zum zweiten Mal im Studio- vor und nach der Überfahrt nach Dover. Es war ein sehr netter Kontakt. Es ist klein aber absolut ausreichend, alles vorhanden und vor allem sauber. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ok pour une escale d'une nuit

La machine à café et le café disponible. Le logement était propre et bien décoré. L'hôtesse était facilement joignable pour poser des questions de dernière minute concernant le parking. Et les places étaient faciles à trouver. Le logement était très bien équipé et propre. De plus, il se situe proche de la plage que nous vouliez voir. Le canapé-lit et les draps étaient très confortables.

Les voisins bruyant qu'on entendait en pleine nuit à travers les murs et qui chauffait leur logement beaucoup trop, ce qui fait que le notre était trop chaud également. La VMC de la cuisine fait énormément de bruit dans le calme de la nuit et m'a empêché de dormir correctement. Je ne sais pas si c'est l'écho des autres logements ou du vent mais c'était insupportable pour moi. Cela n'a pas dérangé ma compagne. Autre point négatif est la forte odeur de cigarette dans le bâtiment. La porte n'étant pas étanche, l'odeur a fini par arriver jusqu'à nous.

Kleines süßes Apartment, direkt in der Nähe von der Promenade / Strand. Wir durften auf Anfrage auch vorher schon einchecken, da wir schon eher angekommen sind. Sehr nette Eigentümerin, sehr hilfsbereit. Es war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

O estúdio está novo e bem equipado! Havia chá e café. Havia tbm chocolate disponível! 😃 Material de limpeza disponível. Equipamento de cozinha variado. Os lençóis e toalhas estavam bem cheirosos. Smart TV com opções de streaming. Havia estacionamento público em frente ao hotel. Bem fácil de estacionar. Há um mercadinho do lado de fora bem justo onde você pode encontrar coisas de última hora. Em frente à praia que é belíssima! O lugar é bem silenciooso pelo menos durante o inverno.

Sofá cama e travesseiros muito desconfortáveis. Sobretudo o travesseiro. Muito duro! Tivemos que comprar novos travesseiros.

Het appartement was sfeervol ingericht en schoon. Voorzien van alle gemakken.

Ondanks de beschrijving toch veel moeite moeten doen om de sleutel te vinden. Verder deed de toegangscode het niet. Het twee persoonsbed (stond wel in de omschrijving) niet gevonden. Slapen was op een slaapbank. Als we dit geweten hadden zouden we dit niet geboekt hebben. Foutieve informatie bij de beschrijving.
