Friendly handover. The kitchen was missing some basic kitchen items which were brought round a couple of days after I asked for them.

Some basic things could be fixed to improve the flat: Install a fan in the bathroom so that the flat doesn’t smell of damp (there is no window or fan in the bathroom). Get rid of the rugs which are very worn and give an impression of uncleanliness. Higher standards of cleaning - for example all around the TV, the kitchen shelves and chest of drawers in the bedroom needed dusting. There is an unpleasant stickiness around the cabinet door knobs in the kitchen that did not come off with cleaning - this gives a disagreeable impression.
