M Hotel - Beijing Tiananmen Square Qianmen Subway Station

Only 20 meters to subway station. Location excellent. Pedestrian area which was lovely. Washing machines free, staff lovely despite no English so google translate a must

Struggled to get a taxi as it’s pedestrianised so 200 metres to try and find one.

The location is perfect to foodies especially for "前大门”, and properly the nearest to Tiananmen square. Room is compact but fully facility. The staff is friendly, especially fromt desk by name of "小刘”, friendly and helpful...even render assistance beyond duty... Strongly recommended for traveral who visiting forbidden City and nearby.. Lim (Malaysia)

Probably may improve the curtains wall for better sound proofing...(Ear plugs is provided) In room...

staff tried to solve as best they could, but our checkin was slow and delayed so we had to wait in the reception for more than 1.5 hour before our rooms was ready

Located right outside Qianmen subway station, this hotel offers unbeatable convenience. Surrounded by plenty of eateries and souvenir shops, it’s also within walking distance to Tiananmen Square. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the housekeeper was responsive to adhoc requests like extra bath towels. If you choose a room with a view, you’ll be treated to a beautiful sight of Zhengyang Gate (正阳门). A great base for exploring Beijing with no shortage of food options nearby. A vibrant place to stay and be soaked in the vibes.

There’s no car drop-off directly in front of the hotel. Need to alight at the main street and walk in. The hotel is a low-rise, 4-storey building, so noise from the shops and businesses downstairs can carry up, especially if you’re a light sleeper. We booked two rooms, including a Twin Room (L) with a window view. However, upon check-in, we were given a room without window. It was disappointing that we had to justify our booking and some back-and-forth before they eventually “upgraded” us to a room that should have matched our original reservation. Saw a guest smoking inside the lobby, which isn’t ideal, especially for families with young children. Additionally, there’s no ramp at the entrance, so you’ll need to lift your luggage or stroller up a 3 steps. Not a major issue, but something to be aware of.
