Élise nous a chaleureusement accueilli et fait faire le tour du logement et des principaux outils (Internet, télé, ventilateur et climatiseurs). Elle a présenté Sainte-Anne, sa région et ses principaux attraits.

Je croyais que le logement était accompagné d’un stationnement privé. Ce n’est pas le cas. Toutefois, nous avons trouvé des espaces de stationnement gratuit à proximité, sans difficulté.

We were greeting by the owners on arrival, who were very friendly and took the time to show us all the things in the appartment, and advice on where to park, tips on eating and other things. The appartment was 2 floors up, so away from the noise of cars, and a nice view. It was absolute centre of Sainte Anne, so all the resources of the town are within 3 minutes walk, and the lovely local beach of Point Martin was about 5-10 minutes away (with a local diving school, which my wife loved) and the wonderful beach of Les Salines was about 10-12 minutes by car. You can buy things to eat at the local market and supermarket (3-4 minutes by foot), and you have a wide choice of things to eat, from very affordable, to quite chic. The appartment has a well appointed kitchen, a big terrace (very quiet), a washing machine, confortable seating, and two bedrooms (1 double + 2 double beds) and quiet (not always the case!) air conditioning that worked (also not always the case!). Full marks! The beaches are quiet - no road noise, with a wonderful sunset.

Not related to the appartment - being in St Anne for Carnival is extremely noisy - the parades and musicians are loud, but the annoying part is when they make the "tuned up" cars backfire loudly for 1 hour at night.

Nous avons passé un super séjour à ste anne L'appartement de Catherine est très agréable, parfaitement équipé, il est spacieux, décoré avec goût et bien ventilé. La situation plein centre de ste anne est très pratique pour les courses et en 5 minutes on rejoint à pied les plages. L'accueil était sympathique et professionnel. Nous reviendrons.
