Modern-ish, big rooms with a lot of space and storage. They offer to wash clothing and the first load is free, which is great and super handy, as well as other services we didn't use, but I imagine can be very handy for longer stays. There is a common area at the ground floor with coffee and water, where you can leave your suitcases if needed (even if unsupervised -- although someone from staff is always there during the day time). They allowed early check-in which was great. Location is 15 mins on foot from the city center, but the walk is down a busy road which seemed safe.

They have a floor standing aircon, which works, but isn't of the most powerful type.

Basic but so well done and has everything you need. Great complimentary services like coffee, biscuits and a laundry service. Lovely roof terrace to start your morning with a coffee overlooking Oaxaca central. Could not recommend enough.

Nothing

Great location to get to many places in the area. The place was very clean and modern. We were only a few blocks from our Mole cooking class and found a market within walking distance where the Mole class went to pick up things for the class.

I don't have anything bad to say about the place or location.

The space has a lot of charm. The outdoor kitchen/patio is lovely and I enjoyed sitting there. It was nice to have snacks and to have the space to unwind and relax. The room was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water, though I tried to conserve water generally, knowing of Oaxaca’s problems. Bed was comfortable and space was tasteful.

NOISY. I have been to Mexico many times so I know this is just the way it is. But this location is very near the perferíco and you can hear the traffic all night, including the trucks deploying Jake brakes. And dogs barking all night. The host provided earplugs but it really wasn’t enough. Sleeping was hard. Also, keep in mind that this barrio isn’t really Centro. It’s not far to the tourist areas, 20-25 minute walk, which I didn’t mind, but I didn’t want to walk back at 9 pm so took a taxi. It’s an ordinary barrio, authentic, not unsafe by any means, but if you want to be right there where the tourist activities are, it’s not optimal. The other thing I noticed was how terrible the air smelled when I was up on the patio. I even remarked on it to the woman cleaning (in Spanish) and she didn’t know what I was talking about. But to me it was strong and foul. Make of that what you will. The Wi-Fi was very good. If it weren’t for the noise, I would stay again. But that was a deal-breaker for me.
