Tao Rama Suite

Tao Rama Suite was the perfect place for our Sicilian honeymoon. The host Roldano was extremely hospitable, highly communicative and made sure we enjoyed our stay. The apartment had everything we needed, was very clean, the hot tub was amazing after a long day of walking. The location is pretty close to the city centre, a short walk. The balcony was another highlight of the place, we had some evening drinks there overlooking the city.

We have just returned from Taormina, where my husband and I stayed at Tao Roma Suite, and we truly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is in a brilliant location — only about a 10-minute walk from the centre of Taormina, yet situated in a quieter and less touristy area that gives you the feeling of experiencing the authentic side of Taormina, which we really loved. One of the biggest advantages is that there are no stairs leading to the apartment from the street, so the taxi driver can drop you almost directly at the doorstep. This is especially helpful when arriving with luggage, as many places in Taormina can be quite difficult to access because of the stairs. There are only a few very small manageable steps inside the building leading to the apartment itself. The apartment was extremely clean and very well equipped. There is a nice coffee machine, microwave, iron, and the air conditioning works perfectly, which is essential during the hot weather. The bathroom has a huge beautiful jacuzzi, which was absolutely wonderful after long days walking around in the heat. It was so relaxing to come back and unwind there in the evenings. The balcony is another story altogether — the views are simply incredible. You could easily spend the whole day sitting there enjoying the scenery. The bed has a water mattress, which I had always wanted to try. I cannot say I completely loved it, but I did not dislike it either — it was definitely an interesting and unique experience. Roldano, the owner, is extremely kind, helpful, and always responds immediately at any time of the day. He also helped us with our luggage and organised taxis to and from the airport, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend Tao Roma Suite to anyone visiting Taormina.

The suite was very comfortable, clean and modern and had all the necessary amenities. Roldana was especially kind and helpful always answering all our questions very quickly. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants and sights. He even arranged for a taxi to the train station on the day we left.

Overall no concerns. A very positive experience.
