Super stop on our way from Joburg to Durban. Popped into the Green Lantern on the way to the house, a beautiful country pub with lots of history. Arrived at the property late at night and managed to find it and get in with no problems. Very quaint and oldy-worldy, stunning starry sky, quiet and peaceful. Wood to make a fire.
We weren’t there for very long, it met all our needs. The upstairs bedroom is open to the sitting room so it could be noisy if you used both bedrooms and stayed for a while. But it was very cute!

It was very easy to get into the property. The hosts were very responsive to the queries I had. The location is stunning. Each go the two bedrooms has a nice big double bed.
The brazilian and kitchen facilities were disappointing. The day we got there, the weather came down fast (as it does in the Berg) and it was cold and wet. It wasn't very cosy inside.

A rustic cottage in a peaceful setting with amazing views. It was nice to stroll around the property and visit the horses and cows. Everything we needed and we would have stayed longer if we could. We went to dinner at the Green Lantern which is worth a visit - the steaks are great!
