This was our first stop on our 16 day Irish journey and I still cannot stop thinking about the majestic views and beautiful gem of a cottage!
Since then I have been wishing for pillows that were as comfy and supportive as the ones at the cottage. The bed was comfy and beautiful. The exterior of the white thatch roof cottage is exactly the way I always dreamed of seeing in Ireland but to be able to stay in one that is immaculately decorated like a curated collection of treasures exceeded all expectations. Padraic and family wrapped their hospitality in kindness making the details sparkle. From homemade scones to a well stocked library for every reader and helping us with our travels by suggesting routes and sights. We knew one trip to Ireland would not be enough and after having the pleasure of staying at the cottage we know where we love to set up base again!

It was really exceeding my expectations from beginning to end. An attentive host, an incredibly big room, which is almost really like an apartment, with everything you need. Incredibly big bathroom with lots of comfort. Attention to detail, leaving home made scones and chocolates for breakfast, apart from tea, coffee and other amenities... House is beautiful and well located close to Benbulbin.

The property was gorgeous! The mountains in the backyard were amazing. The rooms were comfortable & immaculate. The bathroom was the largest bathroom I have ever seen & the decorations were lovely.
Padraic & Dearbhaile were wonderful hosts. When we first arrived Padraic gave us a little tour of our accommodations & showed us how everything worked. He gave us recommendations for dinner that night & places to visit nearby. They even left fresh scones for us as a treat.
I would highly recommend this beautiful property.
