Exceptionally clean in a quiet location. Owner communicated promptly

Beautiful home away from home. Great location for our needs. The beds were very comfortable. Lovely thoughtful touches like snacks on arrival, tea and coffee. Very clean and tidy.

The pillows were very flat and uncomfortable. I know some people like flat pillows though.

Scrupulously clean cottage, tea and coffee and other basics provided (this is always really welcome), short walking distance to the excellent bakery and coffee shop in Snettisham. We also appreciated the 3pm check in, a little earlier than many properties.

Parking was a little tricky, along a narrow and bumpy track to the back of the house. There is only parking for one (small to medium) car by the cottage - although our friend was able to find street parking quite easily a short distance away. Hard to see what if anything the hosts can do about this though, and it wouldn’t stop us from booking the cottage again, it’s just something to be aware of.

Location

Carpets need a good clean, the single bed needs a new mattress,the shower needs a different shower head holder,the fridge opens on its own with food in it had to wedge the door closed with cardboard it doesn’t do it when it’s empty,the road outside is a dirt track full of massive pot holes needs something doing with it,the floor towel for the shower needs binning ,the non stick frying pan needs cleaning properly or replacing . Cobwebs in the cupboards in the bed rooms all needs to be cleaned properly ,some of the towels are like sandpaper so need replacing,the WI-FI needs to be identified as to which network to use and the place with the password is incorrect. Not dog friendly as we had to block exits both front and back using either bins or chairs.
