The Paddocks - A dog-friendly coastal holiday home in Heacham, Norfolk

Relax and unwind in this cosy, home-from-home, newly built 3-bedroom house that sleeps up to 5 people.

We welcome up to 2 small dogs or 1 medium size dog (Up to Cockapoo size). We may be flexible so please send an enquiry.

The Paddocks is set back from the main road within a small new development of what will eventually be eight houses (please note the remainder of the development is still under construction).

The house has been lovingly furnished and thoughtfully decorated to create a relaxing and comfortable stay. Downstairs, there is a cosy living room with a 55" Freeview TV, a comfortable corner sofa, and footstools. The modern, fully equipped kitchen includes a dining table, along with a convenient downstairs cloakroom.

Upstairs, there are three bedrooms. The main bedroom features a king-size bed and en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has a double bed, and the third has a single bed. Please note the single bed sits next to a radiator, creating a small gap at the side, which may not be suitable for very small children. A bed guard is not provided, so guests are welcome to bring their own if required. All bedrooms have wardrobes, while bedrooms one and two also benefit from bedside tables and lamps with USB charging sockets. There is also a family bathroom with a shower over bath.

At the rear, the bedrooms overlook open countryside where you may occasionally spot local wildlife including muntjac deer and owls.

To the back of the property is a small, fully enclosed garden, deal for guests bringing small dogs.

Heacham is a fantastic base for exploring the Norfolk coast, offering the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. The property is just a 20-minute walk or 2-minute drive from Heacham North Beach, with a lovely scenic field walk directly behind the house for those who prefer a more peaceful route. There are also several dog-friendly pubs serving food within easy walking distance, and the house is right next to Heacham Social Club.

You’re perfectly placed to explore some of Norfolk’s most beautiful coastline and countryside. Nearby highlights include the sandy beaches of Old Hunstanton and Brancaster, the vast dunes and nature reserves at Holme and Titchwell, and the stunning Holkham Nature Reserve and Wells-next-the-Sea.

For something special, enjoy a boat trip to see the seals at Blakeney Point or explore the boutique shops, cafés, and restaurants in Burnham Market.

Closer to home, Norfolk Lavender and the Sandringham Estate are just a short drive away, both offering beautiful gardens, walks, and visitor experiences.

For family days out, Hunstanton provides traditional seaside fun with a funfair, Sea Life Sanctuary, arcades, bowling, and the Alive Oasis leisure centre. Just a few minutes away, Snettisham Park offers hands-on farm experiences including lamb feeding, pony rides, a large outdoor play area, and a 45-minute deer safari.
