Great stay in Moshi! The beds were very comfortable, everything was clean. The breakfasts were tasty, and the Cosmas is super friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to. I felt very welcome and really enjoyed my stay. I’d definitely recommend it!

I stayed 2 nights at Janibichi Hostel. I went during lowest season so I was the only one in the place, but in this way I had closer interaction with the owner Cosmas. He is really kind and available for whatever necessity or curiosity you would have. I have done the activities through them, which have a competitive price compared to other vendors. In addition, the hostel is connected with local NGOs and organizations, so staying here have a positive impact also on the territory and local communities.
The hostel is a bit in the outskirt.

Carlos is a friendly guy who prides himself on his property.
Comfortable main room and outside area. Cool and respectful neighbourhood pub right beside the hostel.
Not much in the immediate neigbourhood, including limited food options.
Though I stayed in the dorm alone, the four-bed room could be stuffy if it was occupied by multiple guests.
The shower and bathroom, while clean, are showing their age.
