Good hot water and lovely grounds. Also the laundry option! (I saw 2 lizards inside on arrival, but they left once they saw me.)
Just to be aware of: the sink is small and the shower is large but is sort of over the toilet. No a/c or window screens, but they weren’t needed during my July trip. (I used the fan and mosquito net.)

Great place to stay in Shanty Town, Moshi. The area is quiet and peaceful, with only the sounds of birds around. The house is simple but comfortable, with a private bathroom and kitchen. Cafés, a spa, and a grocery store are all within walking distance. Hubert is a wonderful host—friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. He also kindly allowed me to check in early, which I really appreciated. Highly recommended!
