Tbilisi Tales was walking distance to the Old City. We felt safe and warmly welcome. The breakfast is in the basement, and simple, traditional, good food, but less flexible to dietary requirements than in other properties. There are a number of beautiful cafes (Cafe Dante, my fav) and delicious restaurants (Georgian food with a twist or gourmet angle) nearby.
The street itself was not so beautiful, and not in the direct heart of the old town. But most was reachable with a 15 min walk. Coffee was only instant coffee and hot water. In other properties, we could get or make a Turkish coffee, or have a simple coffee strainer.

Since it's located slightly uphill in the Old Town, it's a bit of a walk up from Liberty Square, but the view from the top-floor terrace was absolutely breathtaking. It’s super convenient, with both the Funicular station and Galleria within easy walking distance. Sandro at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful—it was so reassuring knowing I could ask him about anything. They also do laundry for just 10 GEL.
There’s no elevator, so carrying heavy luggage to the upper floors might be a bit of a workout.
