The location was good, loved the fact that most rooms had an en-suite. The kitchen was well equipped, not that we planned to cook. The beds were lovely & comfy.
My only complaint was the fact that there isn’t double glazing in the front bedrooms, Duke Street is very noisy & double glazing would have helped with this, as even with ear plugs I still couldn’t sleep.

As other comments say, downstairs basement area does smell a little of damp but not a bother if using for a break when you’re out and about.

Amazing location
As expected in a property that is very central for this price point it is a thin house with limited ventilation so musty - with steep tight stairs. Bit loved, damp in kitchen etc

Great location albeit quite noisy at night. Beds were comfy.
Needs a lick of paint, walls very scratched. Cleanish. Not dirty but didn’t feel really clean. I tried to get in touch with the owners weeks before to understand how the rooms worked but didn’t get any reply despite sending lots of messages. That did worry me in case I needed them on the day of the actual stay, but thankfully I didn’t. Bit odd that you enter down an alley too…but once inside it was ok.
