Kanava Cave Winery Villa

Kanava Cave Winery Villa is truly a hidden gem that offers a unique vibe unlike any other place in the world. After visiting, I found myself wanting to keep it a secret, sharing it only with a select few. Stepping into the villa feels like entering another world—one where time seems to stand still. Every moment spent here is a treasure. Imagine being in the midst of a museum, designed with every comfort for living, meticulously crafted down to the smallest details. There’s nothing superfluous here; it’s the pinnacle of design and execution. I have immense respect for Yiannis the owner, who has poured so much love and effort into creating this unique retreat. Yiannis incredibly welcoming, meeting us in the morning and surprising us with his level of hospitality. He took us on a brief tour, explaining the villa's history as it was transformed from a winery. He ensured we lacked for nothing during our stay, stocking the fridge with fresh fruits, juices, and snacks, along with plenty of water and sweets. This kind of generosity is truly unparalleled. The villa is equipped with top-notch amenities, including a lovely courtyard with a dining table. The pool with a jacuzzi and a rooftop relaxation area. The tranquility surrounding the villa makes it hard to want to leave. As I mentioned, it possesses a special atmosphere that is hard to describe. I must also mention our lovely neighbor, Paraskevi, who surprised us by bringing breakfast one morning that was far better than restauran

This was my third time visiting KANAVA in Santorini. This place continues to amaze me, with its beautiful decor and calming atmosphere away from all the busy areas. The perfect place to unplug, relax and truly feel at home. Yiannis, the owner of KANAVA, is always so welcoming, accommodating and truly an amazing and genuine host. His recommendations for activities around the island is very thoughtful, and truly some of my best memories I have captured yet. KANAVA will forever be one of my most favorite travel destinations and places to stay - I will happily look forward to come back a fourth time, and definitely recommend this amazing space to anyone looking for a relaxing, peaceful space with beautiful surroundings and aesthetics
