Stayed for hockey tournament- close to rink, restaurants. Place was clean, was just what we needed for 3 nights. Heat was very loud, which is tough for light sleepers, & there is another unit upstairs, & you can hear footsteps. Overall, great experience. Nice kitchen, laundry.

Overall the property was suitable for a couple of nights. We were in town for a friend’s wedding, and wanted to be close to downtown Utica. It is definitely walkable from the property. Initially everything seemed great, and most of the basic needs were available. Unfortunately the dryer didn’t work, and we specifically needed a place that we could do laundry. I travel extensively for work, but the host communication here wasn’t as respectful as I usually experience. After multiple attempts with every setting he requested I try to troubleshoot it, I shared with him the vent wasn’t even attached to the dryer. At some point, one of the comments made by the host was that perhaps I didn’t know how to use it. I responded in kindness and shared that the communication seemed disrespectful. Normally, I would have generally expected some sort of solution, or if no solution was possible, some amount of a credit to the total rental. Unfortunately I did not receive any further response regarding the issue, other than a “thank you for hosting with us” message after we checked out the next day. Pros: the unit itself - while not a “luxury” or “premium” property - it had the basics, the host communicated well until there was an issue, check out was a breeze, and the location was walkable to downtown. Cons: poor issue resolution & respect in communication, broken closet bar, dryer, only one towel provided per guest, basic items versus premium if desired. I believe this is Honest & Fair
