The home was extremely clean and well appointed. We did not use the kitchen or dining room, but could see that they were well supplied. The lighted mirrors and updated bathroom in the primary bathroom were nice touches. There is a window AC unit in the primary bedroom and central AC on the 2nd floor (controlled by the property owner). The towels were very fluffy. There was ample seating. Light switches and appliances were labeled for ease of use. The outdoor patio area is large and lovely with a running fountain. The hosts were very welcoming and communication with them was easy.Access to the property could be difficult for some. This 2 story home is on the 2nd and 3rd floors and the interior staircases are narrow and steep.The ground floor hosts a beauty parlor and 2 other businesses. There was a chemical smell upon arriving to the property, possibly from the beauty parlor. Access to the 2nd floor entry is via a separate entrance in the rear of the property, with stairs up to the property in a shared room with the beauty parlor. Within the home, uneven floors are marked for safety and there are safety gates at the top and bottom of the stairs between the 2nd and 3rd floors. There are motion activated lights in the home.Off street parking in front of the garage was easy. The location for us was perfect, near Pratt Munson. The neighborhood was quiet and there was no street noise during sleeping hours. Overall, we would be pleased to return to this property.

Exterior is a classic old mansion. The interior is magnificent. Luxury throughout. Every imaginable need is met in terms of appliances, gourmet coffee set up both downstairs and upstairs. The bathroom in the main bedroom is like what you would see in a luxury hotel. The linens and the towels are very high-quality. A great experience.

I was lucky enough to meet Bitsy upon arrival and got a personal tour of the property! Bitsy and her sister have put such great care and thought into giving their guests a great stay. We were two couples and a 21 year old who was very comfortable in the bed that was made up for him in the living room. The king suite at the top of the house was super comfortable w a great bathroom. The house is well outfitted (we had a dinner there for 9 people w no trouble!) and super clean. Our hosts left the sweetest note for our daughter who was graduating from a local college, too. Staying here means you will be very comfortable and well looked after!
