Nestled in the heart of Pembrokeshire National park is Ty Melyn House, with unquestionably one of the best views in Pembrokeshire, directly overlooking St Brides Bay and Newgale beach;popular with surfers all year round, with golden sands and a pebble beach. Guests can enjoy exploring the neighbouring villages along the coastal road, including Solva, and head towards St David’s, the smallest city in Britain, with its magnificent cathedral, independent shops, cafes, delicatessens and restaurants.
There are two apartments within this fantastic house, both with a well-equipped fully integrated kitchen with breakfast bar and a dining area with views over the beach. There is a living area on the lower and upper floor with corner sofas and boasting a warming log burner for cosy Winter nights in.
There are five spacious bedrooms; two kings, two twin bedrooms and a bunk bedroom, with a full family bathroom in each apartment with a walk-in shower and separate bath.
The best part of this property is the garden area with terrace and a lawn, where you can enjoy a summer evening with a cocktail or a relax in the six-person luxury hot tub. The upper floor has a balcony, where you can enjoy a morning coffee and watch the early morning surfers take to the waves.
Newgale beach is less than a 5 minute walk away and known for its outstanding natural beauty its a blue flag award for the clarity and purity of its waters. The soft sand has been trodden by surfers young and old from beginners to pros.
Newgale has long been a favourite amongst surfers for its consistent tide and safe surroundings. Newsurf is a small shop on the roadside which offers surf tuition along with wet suit and board hire. There is also a pub which is a great little place for an alfresco glass of wine as the sun sets.
