The perfect spot for adventure enthusiasts, Alyeska Resort's slopes are minutes away from your front door. The Virgin Creek Trailhead is also within walking distance of your stay. Girdwood also boasts various fishing charters, breweries, and restaurants.
Back at your stay, you'll have access to a shared grilling space, as well as a deck, expanding your enjoyment of the gorgeous Alaskan wilderness.
Inside, comfort can be found amidst the open layout. The living room's oversized sofa and large smart TV overlook a lovely window view. The adjacent fully equipped kitchen displays stainless steel appliances and ample meal prep space. There is both a dining table and breakfast bar available for meals in or takeout.
Sizable and plush, the bedrooms are equally comfortable. The littlest members of your family will appreciate the toys available in the kid's room. A private washer/dryer and Pack-N-Play round out the interior conveniences.

Extremely clean and fresh, perfect location in Girdwood, beautiful neighborhood and houses, all the amenities you can ask for. We had 3 adults and the 1.5 half bath, 2 bedroom, spacious living room was perfect for us. The morning view of the mountain from the living room was so beautiful. Beds were comfortable and the house is cozy. All the amenities you need for cooking and maintaining your stay, including laundry and soaps. Only thing I suggested to the property manager was a proper old fashioned drip coffee pot. We had to use a "K-CUP" alternative making one cup at a time, and for some that would be ok but we are old fashioned and like to brew a pot. It was still ok and not enough to take any review points away. There is a beautiful, relaxing half mile walk to Virgin Creek Falls that is WORTH it - take the time to do this in summer. Short drive to the resort and tram, and walkable distance to the brewery and main street in town. Highly recommend. I would def rent with this company and stay here again. Don't pass this up - super clean, super easy check-in/check-out and perfect location!

Clean, Quiet and Comfortable
A great stay at Penguin Perch Unit A. Nice property, easy access and up off the road for added privacy. Nice layout and very quiet. There was also a family in Unit B. Never heard them. Only saw their car and their shoes. That’s a great statement to privacy and separation.
The unit is located in a convenient neighborhood in Girdwood, close enough to everything and far enough from any regular traffic.
We loved it. Slept great. Felt right at home.

The home was very clean and in great condition as well as comfortable!
We loved how it felt more private/secluded with the surrounding trees. Our kids loved it as well and had a blast.
