Very close to the beach. Quiet and nice neighborhood. Only one parking place, but was always able to find room to park on 63rd. Walking distance to a smaller grocery store and multiple restaurants. Stocked on extra towels, linens, kitchen stuff, cleaning products, etc. Only complaint is it could use a deep cleaning.

The only great part is the proximity to the beach - and the couch is comfy. It really needs a DEEP CLEAN, and the floors are in bad shape (they LOOK fine, but they are sagging - especially bad in the larger queen room - you can literally feel the floor sink when you walk between the bottom of the bed and the wall). Stained mattress pads, easily visible mold on the shower ceiling & above the top bunk. We had to pull out the sofa because a ping pong ball went back there and there were old dog treats, dirt, sand, crackers - gross. Bathroom sink & tub drain extra slow. We would brush our teeth at night and it was still draining in the morning. We got there at 4pm check in and had to wait 15-20mins because the cleaning crew was still there - we had black feet after walking around inside to unpack. Will not stay in this unit again. Will look into other Lazy Whale units because the location is nice, but this unit is not. August 2025.
