Apartment L - Maisonette - Holiday apartment at the theater Haus Olof Palme 2

The L duplex apartment measures 70 square meters and features its own rooftop terrace. With its loft-style design spread over two levels, it offers everything your heart desires. The entryway features a kitchen combined with a dining area, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, and a bedroom with two single beds. On the upper level is the combined living/sleeping area with a double bed (200 x 200 cm) and an additional alcove bed, as well as a sofa and armchairs for your comfort. A TV and DVD player are provided, and Wi-Fi is free.

Due to the steep staircase, the apartment is not recommended for children under 3 years of age.

The apartment is located in the attic and is accessible via the stairwell (entrance at Haus Palme 2).



Houses Palme 1 and 2 form a distinctive ensemble on Olof-Palme-Platz. These striking Art Nouveau buildings are situated on the Old Town island and along the Strelasund, surrounded by the newly renovated theater, the Knieper Gate, and the medieval city wall.

The buildings at Olof-Palme-Platz 1 and 2 are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site and were lovingly and meticulously restored in 2006.

In just one minute, you’ll reach the Old Market—one of the most beautiful in the Baltic Sea region—or the waterfront; 200 meters further on, you’ll reach the harbor, where boats depart for Hiddensee or Altefähr and where the Ozeaneum is located. Just a few meters from the house are the boat rentals at Knieperteich and the Sund Promenade, which leads to the beach.

Guests staying in House 2 have access to our large communal rooftop terrace in House 1. From here, you’ll enjoy a fantastic view of the Stralsund Theater, the city wall, the Old Town, and the harbor.

Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis (one parking space per apartment) for 6.00 euros per day.
Additional parking spaces are available in the nearby parking garages “Am Meeresmuseum” and “Am Hafen.”
With a prepaid parking ticket (parking meter/ticket shop/select days), you can leave the parking garage and re-enter as often as you like on the days you’ve paid for.

Paid EV charging stations for electric cars are available in the parking garages.

A bicycle storage area is available in the courtyard.

The Olof-Palme-Platz bus stop for lines 1, 4, and 60 (Night Express) is located right outside the door.



Check-in is available from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00, and check-out is from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
