About this house rental
Welcome to the Vista Verde Hideaway, hidden away in the natural landscape of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado USA. This space is not just a place to stay; it's an invitation to immerse yourself in the heart and soul of outdoor mountain adventures.
Unwind in front of a cozy fireplace on a chilly evening. During the summer, enjoy evenings on the expansive decks which face the Collegiate Peaks Mountain Range. The open living room to kitchen makes it easy for groups to be together during meal prep. The 2nd floor family/game room allows for plenty of space for guests to find a quiet corner to read a good book, watch tv, play games or put a puzzle together. The sofa sleeper also provides a comfortable place to rest your head.
The first two bedrooms are on the main floor just off of the kitchen. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed with en suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a full bed with easy access to a powder room.
The third bedroom is on the upper level off of the family room/game room. With a king size bed, guests can sleep in comfort while enjoying the spectacular views out of two windows. The window seat is the perfect spot to curl up with a hot coffee and a good book.
We invite you to stay with us at Vista Verde Hideaway and enjoy all the area has to offer. Nearby skiing, snowmobiling, snow shoeing are just a few of the winter activities available. Visit us in the summer and the outdoor possibilities are endless; whitewater rafting, kayaking, horseback riding, mountain climbing, biking, and horseback riding to name a few. We are close to not just one but two world-renowned hot springs which means year-round swimming is possible.

This was a really fun place that worked well for our family. The remodel was done very well and the furnishings were great. The vent hood however does not vent out of the house but onto the kitchen ceiling, which meant we had to disconnect (and later reconnect) the smoke detector when we used the stove, and open doors and windows. We also would’ve appreciated nicer silverware and metal spatulas to use with the stainless pans. But overall it was a fun spot and we would go back given the opportunity,
