The house was clean and very roomy with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The screened in porch was a hit for enjoying nice weather, and the neighborhood was quiet. Having a garage was also a nice touch. Our host was great with communication. The house was close to beaches and tourist attractions. As a homeowner, however, I think the house could use a little TLC as to trimming the shrubs, trees, cleaning windows, and leaky drains.

My husband and I were traveling with our lab, and this house was perfect for our time away. The location made it easy to visit the beach, the Hermitage Museum & Gardens, and the waterfront in Norfolk. The owner was a pleasure to work with and provided quick responses and excellent restaurant recommendations.

The upstairs ac does not work. It was up to 88 degrees upstairs. The outside space was nothing like the photos. The house is very cute. The outside needs cleaning. The trash can was full... we had to purchase paper towels and toilet paper. They were not included. The windows are full of spiderweb. We had to cover the fire place because it was so hot it smelt like bbq.
