GELET GUESTHOUSE

The guest house was quiet and comfortable, seeing that i had just com out of a major operation.

The host was friendly and patient with us, the check in and check out was very smooth and lastly the room was spacious and clean.

Everything was great. The place is super spacious, all amenities were there. Super clean and well kept. The neighborhood is very safe, I could walk to Spar without any issues. Nice big yard and you get your privacy. Lovely friendly dogs. Really special place I'll be coming back here for sure! 10 stars for Gerald!

No Aircon, so room was extremely cold during winter. Told to use a blanket and the old small worn out hot water bottle in the room, which I was obviously afraid to use, as it looked like it's lifespan had been exhausted and did not want to be burnt by boiling water from a leaking bottle. Couldn't handle the cold and went to buy a small heater, which we were not allowed to utilise and was literally asked to switch it off and to use a blanket or that old hot water bottle and it spoiled my entire stay. No adequate smoking area provided and advised that hubbly bubbly is not allowed, but comprised only because we were going to leave Located on a noisy street. Didn't feel free to enjoy the place or like a home away from home. If you don't like dogs, then not the pace for you. Ants problem, our braai meat was full of ants the next morning. Waited long for someone to come out to take the keys during checkout.
