I don’t have words to describe how solemn and close to God this place feels. We were made to feel at home, our 4-year-old was baffled by being above clouds and hearing owls and forest creatures. It is well equipped for long stays, we cooked, enjoyed the available kids games and books, fell asleep by the cracking of firewood and woke up to sunshine barging right through our window. When you open the window, the cloud tries to barge in. Be aware that this is not an apartment, but a natural residence in a stone building next to a sanctuary in a mountain, and as such: 1. Can be a bit drafty 2. Has squeeky floors 3. You get your own wood from outside 4. Is a steep climb by car that lasts about 20 minutes through incredible nature 5. There is no AC, but a few electric radiators, a big wood furnace and thick covers. On the other hand: 1. There are coffe capsules and a machine waiting for you 2. The wood logs are big and when you get the fire going you’ll feel cozy 3. There is a kids playing ground right outside 4. There is a restaurant with home cooked meals Please, if you love nature and are capable of enjoying silence and sheer splendor of mysterious old buildings, book this place and you won’t regret it.

Todo! La ubicación, decoración, vistas… es muy acogedora y exactamente lo que estábamos buscando, para desconectar de la ciudad durante cinco días! Y Dolors es excepcional!

Si llueve mucho entra água pero cerrarán ese enero para cambiar los tejados… preguntar si ya están arreglados antes de reservar.
