Moorea - Fare Hanahei

The house was fantastic! Roomy, private, beautiful views of the mountains, partial sea view. Swimming pool, laundry, a separate kitchen, patios. The house had an off smell, but it was probably just moisture and the living area didn't have AC (only the bedrooms), so we didn't spend any time in there. 

However, the management company, Stayinn Vacations, was terrible. The house is very hard to find because of the lack of road names or addresses. They sent us to the wrong location twice, where we got stuck in a flooded muddy lane and had to back out. We wandered around for hours in the dark and in the rain. The third or so time they sent us down a road that doesn't go through and ended in a steep hill where we got stuck again, and this time the neighbors had to help us push out. Even the name of the house changed a couple of times. The written instructions were ok until you actually had to turn into the correct driveway--it didn't say which driveway to take! Also, the driveway is shared with the property next door, so we could have barged in on the neighbors. We waited in the car for someone to take us to the house, which they finally did. They also don't tell you that you can't do anything from this house unless you have a car.  The wifi never worked. We spent hours trying to explain to Stayinn that it just wasn't working (after a dozen messages, modem resets, etc) and that they needed to either check with the internet provider or send someone out. The owner later sent her friend Mango, who also wasn't qualified to fix the problem. We wanted to contact the owner to ensure she knew how badly Stayinn was managing her home, but we never got a reply.

L’intimité, la tranquillité et lieu zen. Dès notre arrivée, je me sentais chez moi. Très bonne énergie que ce lieu dégage.

La climatisation d’une des chambres donnait que du chaud.
