Lokacija, pogled, dizajn hotela, priroda, mir i tišina, hrana, vino, usluga, osoblje, čistoća, terasa i pogled iz sobe, udobnost kreveta… Apsolutno sve je bilo savršeno i kao u raju. Uključujući i doručak koji je bio odličan i čekao nas je točno u vrijeme kada smo najavili dolazak. Najbolji smještaj u kojem smo bili ikad!

Sve nam se svidjelo, ne postoji nijedna zamjerka.

Mellen is located in a high mountainous area. Amazing view of the bay and vines. The room is a bit small but the décor is excellent. The room has a large and comfortable balcony.

Reaching the hotel is on a narrow, mountainous road that is partly single-lane. This should be taken into account. The location is about an hour and a quarter from Dubrovnik. There is no kettle or coffee maker in the room. The balcony of the room is shared with the rest of the rooms and the restaurant so there is no privacy. In the evening the hotel staff leaves and in fact you are left alone at the place and if there is a problem you are in trouble. Breakfast consists of cold cuts, hard cheeses, bread, juice and coffee. At this price, it is advisable to also have eggs, vegetables and pastries. Today it's pretty basic. Bathroom was dirty, it was obvious that only superficial cleaning is being done but not proper one. When we arrived, there was a horrible sewage smell which later disappeared. The shower was clogged. Breakfast was poor, like someone taking things out of their fridge to serve guests, but at least the coffee was good. Our impression was for a well done investment but amateurish maintenance and customer service, not matching the premium price point.
