The Downs Stables Glamping Pod Theos Charm

Shared Kitchen, bathroom clean and modern, towels supplied, lots of toiletries, very warm. Kitchen stocked with milk, eggs, bread butter snacks etc. That was a nice gesture. I was given a hot water bottle though the pod had plenty of heating as well as kettle fridge hair drier and tea coffee etc. Its a stables and Horses were lovely to see. Close to shops restaurants pubs

No WiFi. No external lighting so very dark when going to bathroom and kitchen in the evening. There was a light near the entry to the kitchen though. Torch a must. Pot holes on the farm road not great for driving or walking in the dark. Was blocked in twice by machinery which kept me late for work as it was a work stay in the area. Staff pleasant but busy and distant. I had to back up and exit around a very uneven road. No TV.

It had all the basics and was great to have the bathroom and kitchen

Aware this is a working stables - but wasn’t very well signposted to the pods when you first arrive and because of were the pods are you are woken up early each morning
