Mission Beach Townhome Getaway

The place is a couple steps away. You can see the beach from the second floor. Spacious and close to restaurants.

Everything went well. Very communicative.

The location of this property is truly outstanding and was a big part of what made our trip so enjoyable. We especially appreciated having a spacious three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath home with ample garage space. The availability of beach chairs and other beach supplies was also a thoughtful convenience that made our stay memorable.

The check-in experience was far from seamless and created unnecessary stress and panic. Despite reaching out to the host twice by email in the days and weeks leading up to our arrival, the accurate information needed for check-in was not provided in advance. There was ample opportunity to send a welcome packet with clear instructions, but we did not receive it until the day after we had already checked in. Given the host's level of experience and the number of years they have been managing the property, I expected a more organized, proactive, and seamless guest experience. Better communication and attention to reservation details would have gone a long way toward preventing the issues we encountered. Additionally, the listing advertises air conditioning, which is somewhat misleading. The property does not have central or whole-home air conditioning; instead, there is only a single portable AC unit located in the upstairs living/family room. Lastly, while I understand that ants can be common in beach homes and can be difficult to completely eliminate, the number of ants throughout the property appeared to be well above what would be considered typical.
